Intern, Marketing & Communications – Creative Development/Production (Winter 2021)
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
We are looking for Winter 2021 interns! We seek intelligent, motivated, and resourceful interns who are excited to bring critical thinking and sharp analytical skills to our agency. Our Winter 2021 term runs approximately from early January through late March/early April, dependent on candidate availability.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
We’re looking for an intern who is excited to bring creativity paired with critical thinking and sharp analytical skills to our Marketing & Communications team. The primary function of this role is to support the Marketing & Communications team in day-to-day activities and operations in support of the agency’s influencer, nonprofit, and corporate social impact clients. Propper Daley interns regularly interact with account leads and senior leadership on wide-ranging projects and issues. Through their work, interns contribute to the agency’s in-house issue expertise, strategy development efforts for new clients, and business development pitches.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Supporting story sourcing calls for video projects (e.g. short documentary)
- Assisting in planning logistics for photoshoots and video productions
- Researching and recommending third-party creative vendors
- Assisting with any additional marketing-related projects, as needed.
- Attending & participating in production calls and supporting with meeting notes
- Assisting in planning logistics for virtual video productions
- Managing and updating production calendars
- Researching and recommending third-party creative vendors and/or partners
- Attending webinars and reporting out on industry updates
- Assisting with any additional marketing-related projects, as needed
We seek candidates who match the following requirements:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate institution
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments as a collaborative team player who can also work autonomously
- Strong interest in marketing/communications or creative development and how they intersect with entertainment, advocacy, philanthropy, or CSR
- Strong writing and oral communication skills are essential
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Highly organized, attentive to detail, with a positive “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude
- Fun, creative, and isn’t afraid to think-outside-of-the-box
- The ideal candidate will have experience with design software and graphics editing tools (Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop), though this skill set is not required for this role
