Zakiyyah Babatunde-Bey

Associate, Client Services

Zakiyyah Babatunde-Bey is a Client Services Associate at Propper Daley. Zakiyyah has a strong background in the nonprofit and social impact space with a focus on issues such as women’s health, youth empowerment, and criminal justice. Prior to joining Propper Daley, Zakiyyah managed a global network of youth activists at PERIOD in their women’s health efforts for menstrual equity, and organized a virtual program at SheLectricity dedicated to the empowerment and leadership of young girls of color across the country. Prior to entering the nonprofit and social impact space, she interned with Representative Karen Bass (D-CA-37) on Capitol Hill and at the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office. Zakiyyah studied Mandarin at Tsinghua University in Beijing on a scholarship and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Northridge in her hometown of Los Angeles, California.
